Richard comes to us with an exceptional track record in financial leadership across SaaS, fintech, consulting and high-growth businesses. His career has been defined by driving strategic planning, robust reporting, and strong governance frameworks for organisations navigating periods of significant scale and transformation.

Most recently, Richard served as Financial Director at Careology, a cancer support SaaS business operating across the UK and US. Before that, he held the Finance Director position at Uncapped, a London-based global fintech company that's revolutionising funding for fast-growing businesses by providing founder-friendly, non-dilutive capital. Richard's fintech credentials run deep, with previous roles including Head of Finance at Cherryz and Financial Controller at Thread, where he built and led finance functions in rapidly scaling environments that demanded both strategic vision and operational excellence.

Richard's career began in the rigorous world of audit at PwC, followed by economic and financial consulting for litigation at FTI Consulting - experience that honed his analytical skills and ability to navigate complex financial scenarios.

This unique blend of commercial acumen, hands-on leadership, and deep fintech expertise makes Richard perfectly positioned to support fu3e through our next phase of growth. His proven ability to build scalable finance functions whilst maintaining strategic oversight will be instrumental as we continue to expand and evolve.
