The PropTech 50 – A ranking of the most innovative UK property tech creators for 2023 was announced this week.
BusinessCloud, the online publication offering news, views and reports from the UK's technology sector, aimed to celebrate businesses of all sizes creating original tech for real estate, construction, the built environment and building management.
An original list of 114 companies was drawn up and then ranked by a combination of BusinessCloud reader votes and an independent judging panel of leaders at the UK PropTech Association, British Property Federation, Flexible Space Association, KPMG & BusinessCloud.
The panel included Melanie Leech CBE, chief executive, British Property Federation, Sammy Pahal, managing director, UK PropTech Association, Jane Sartin, executive director, Flexible Space Association, Ben Taylor, director, KPMG and Jonathan Symcox, editor, BusinessCloud.
PropTech 50 comprises of trail blazing UK-based companies creating original technology for the property sector including innovations such as smart facilities management, mobile access software and planning platforms.
Taking top spot on the PropTech 50 list are Plentific - a pioneering smart solution connecting owners, operators, service providers and tenants on a single, efficient platform.
Others in the top five include Metrikus software offering cloud-based dashboard insights, Smart Spaces; a leading white-label IoT building management software and Glider data-driven digitalisation for construction.
fu3e. - our very own real estate software platform for funds, owners, developers & consultants to manage risks, costs & milestones in real-time, was placed 6th by judges and voters.

Developed out of industry from a development management company, fu3e. was subsequently de-grouped and taken to market during lockdown.
